One Fair Wage & Time to Care Briefing with Michigan Chamber
The Greater Farmington Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an educational session on the One Fair Wage (minimum wage) and Time to Care (paid sick time) ballot proposals on Friday, October 5th. Both of these proposals initially approved for the November ballot have subsequently been adopted by the legislature into law. While there are arguments both for and against the merits of these actions, the one certainty is that it will present changes to how many businesses operate. Dan Papineau from the Michigan Chamber of Commerce will be here to present an overview of the current status and future implications surrounding these initiatives, along with a review of the other November ballot proposals. Mr. Papineau will also be available to answer any questions at the end of the presentation.
