How to do Business with the City of Farmington Hills
This workshop is designed for area businesses that want to learn about “How to Do Business with the City of Farmington Hills.” City officials and representatives from the City’s Purchasing Division invites businesses to learn about the City’s bid process, become active participants in the City’s e-procurement system, and find out how to get notified about contracts that are available. City Department Directors will offer details on upcoming large projects including local road construction and the re-purposing of Harrison High School into a Community Recreation and Arts Center.
Following the presentation, City staff will be available to assist businesses in registering for MITN, the Michigan Intergovernmental Trade Network. MITN is a purchasing group that provides a way for local government agencies in Michigan to more effectively notify vendors of RFP (Request for Proposal) and bid opportunities, while using shared resources to increase efficiency and reduce costs. The procurement solution delivers suppliers a centralized online location to view and receive Michigan RFPs and bid opportunities from over 100 Michigan local government agencies.
